Code of Conduct:
Follow the rules:
• Respect and follow any rules and guidelines stipulated by the relevant property owner or controlling body.
• Adhere to the rules and guidelines of Motorcycling Australia.
• Follow the guidance and direction of event officials.
Respect the environment:
• Stick to marked trails wherever possible.
• Avoid sensitive areas.
• Limit noise and dust around other people as much as you can.
• Slow down around livestock and other animals.
• Clean up all rubbish and aim to leave the ride site and camp ground better than when we got there.
Drive responsibly:
• We are a recreational SXS club, so drive accordingly and at speeds appropriate to the terrain and conditions.
• Do not drive a vehicle when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Wear suitable safety equipment whenever driving.
• Don’t tailgate on the trails, dust intake and collisions are not good for you or your machine.
Be prepared and self-sufficient:
• Carry all necessary tools, communication devices and recovery equipment to get yourself out of trouble, then hopefully you won’t need it.
• Arrive at rides with a clean, well maintained, and serviced machine so you don’t waste your time and that of others on the trails.
Respect others:
• Be respectful, courteous, and non-discriminatory to other club members, property owners and any other people you come across while on club rides or undertaking club business.
• Help others whenever you can, they will hopefully repay the favour when you need it further down the trail.
